Letting go

This hangs over my dining room table. One of the shades is always crooked. No matter how many times I walk by and straighten it, I always find a shade askew. Today, for once, I refrained from straightening. I looked at the crooked shade. And then I let it be.

Sometimes I need to resist the temptation of making it perfect.
